A life of sound

I started my journey in music in my early 20s after graduating from Chelsea College of Art.  Due to failing eye sight I decided to move away from the visual arts and take a different road. 

I performed as a solo artist on the burgeoning London Folk scene putting out 2 independent releases and gigging extensively.

In 2010 I founded the London band Treetop Flyers with fellow musicians Reid Morrison, Laurie Sherman, Tomer Danan and Mathew Starrit. My interest in recording exploded as I started to venture into new areas as a musician and composer.  At this time I also teamed up with a kindred spirit and mentor Simon Trought to learn and explore music production and recording. We expanded Simons already thriving SOUP STUDIO into an even bigger concern moving into a former round trees factory and through an entire bespoke build we created our dream studio.
